OUR STUDIO

Our perfect, newly renovated 1700 square foot facility in Alliston, Ontario is conveniently located right on highway 89 at 562 Victoria Street East in rear of the plaza. Enter through our logo’d door next to our large garage that allows us to enjoy the fresh air in the summer!

Upon entering the studio you’ll find a cozy sitting area with a comfy couch and TV available for parents who can’t find a sitter or anyone who just needs a chat with friends before or after class.

The studio is equipped with a variety of equipment from kettlebells, TRX and bumper plates to yoga mats, blocks and rollers to ensure our PT and classes are always diverse and accommodating.

Whether you’re pressed for time in the morning getting to work or have plans in the evening we want to make sure you can still get your workout in. Members have access to our change room/washroom facilities and 3 shower stalls. Towels are available at no extra cost!

OUR INSTRUCTORS

ANNIE CONNELL
ANNIE CONNELLOwner & Head Trainer
Annie is the head trainer as well as owner and operator of Iolite studios. In late 2018 Annie saw a need in the area for a fitness facility that considered the diversity of each individual person looking to create a healthy and happy life – and so, Iolite was born. Annie is a certified Canadian Fitness Professional (CanFit PTS) and holds certifications as a PoundFit Pro and Kangoo Jumps instructor. She is passionate about helping people feel comfortable in their own skin and becoming their healthiest self. As both a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, you can join Annie almost everyday at the studio.
AIMEE PUDIFIN
AIMEE PUDIFINYoga Instructor
Aimee is a registered 200-hour yoga instructor with the Canadian Yoga Alliance. In January of 2018 she completed her Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in Costa Rica. A short time after that She began “Backwoods Yoga” which runs out of Alliston. Her background is in Kinesiology and Aimee has always been an advocate for physical health. Aimee says she turned to yoga because, “I came to realize that health really could not be defined as just physical. My focus now is on wellness as a whole. By integrating mental, emotional and physical health into my teachings I hope to promote a better sense of self and well-being among my students.”
JOSIE LAQUERRE
JOSIE LAQUERREKangoo Instructor
Josie has been an active participant in kangoo classes for over 4 years and became an instructor 3 years ago. “I fell in love with Kangoo the very first time I put my boots on.” Having knee issues, Kangoo allowed Josie to get an amazing cardio workout while never having any pain. “I also love making choreography to teach in my classes! I can’t wait to join you on your fitness journey!”
JUSTINE SPATARO
JUSTINE SPATAROYoga Instructor
Justine spataro completed her Yoga Teacher Training (TTC 200) in Rishikish, India. Since then she has been teaching yoga to women and men of all ages and skill levels. Her passion for yoga stems from her love of positivity and self-care. Justine feels yoga is the perfect way to connect with yourself and find peace within.
KRISTINA TACKAS
KRISTINA TACKASCertified Personal Trainer
As a Certified Personal Trainer with a degree in Physical Health and Education, Kristina shares enthusiasm and passion for health and wellness. She aims to create a training environment that motivates, challenges and empowers individuals in a fun and rewarding way, for a variety of fitness levels. She believes in the positive effects exercise has on physical and psychological well-being. Her goal is to welcome all and help them achieve a healthier and balanced lifestyle. With consistency, perseverance, and determination, one’s full potential can be realized. Kristina looks forward to support and work with you!

Natasha has been participating in Kangoo classes for 3 years and became an instructor of Kangoo dance 2 years ago.
